Evaluation Research and Publications
CIDE conducts multi-dimensional research using both quantitative and qualitative methods on the development programs executed by national/international organizations in order to produce real-time feedback that can be immediately reflected in the program. From 2014 to 2015, CIDE has strived to produce pragmatic knowledge that can be used for further improvement of development programs by conducting comprehensive research on various topics and publishing the results. Strengthening Preliminary Evaluation of ODA Plan | Chang, Hyung-sik (Visiting Professor, Graduate School of Public Administration, Seoul National University / Former Executive Director of KOICA) | The purpose of this research is to provide detailed explanations about strengthening plan of the preliminary evaluation of ODA and various forms, methodologies and standards of the preliminary evaluation. At the same time, the research strives to deepen the understanding of knowledge and practice of preliminary evaluation of ODA by analyzing the preliminary evaluation process of aid developed countries like USAID, CIDA, international organizations including World Bank and UNDP and national agencies like KOICA and EDCF. |
